Barry Stimson has been in the business of designing and producing products for many years.  The vast range of products include amphibious and off road vehicles – bespoke multi level timber houses in Canada and Australia – power boats up to 50ft  – sail boats – cats and multi hulls - super trikes and competition cars.  Other products include furniture design and a raft of design award winning motor caravans.  Romahome – Cockburn Holdsworth – La Méditerranée – Alpine – St Tropez – Hitch Hiker – Trail Finder – Sportique – St Moritz – Sport Pack to name but a few  U.K designs.  Barry Stimson is still working as a design consultant for a number of companies as far a field as Japan and Australia.  All designs have one thing in common; they are all significantly different to other products on offer.

Barry Stimson returned to the U.K from Canada in 1969 and designed and built the first of his cars, a kit car:-the Stimson Mini Bug.  It was a great success followed by the CSII – six wheeler Mini Bug – Safari Six – Scorcher – Sea Donkey – Hitch Hiker – Trek – Honda open 4.  Even today, 35 years on many examples remain.
