The unit has been designed as an alfresco galley to be used from the back of most vehicles or at ground height, making it a really 'go-anywhere' – completely self-contained – galley unit. The STIMSON EXPLORER KIT can be opened up into a complete galley in just a matter of seconds.

The 'NEW' STIMSON EXPLORER KIT was designed to the following design brief:

	A compact galley unit that can be lifted easily into most cars, 4x4s (including all Land Rovers), MPVs, trailers and day boats. This would enable the unit to be taken out when not in use.
	A galley unit that is small enough to fit most vehicles, but can fold out to achieve a large amount of work space – to serve and prepare food.
	A unit that is durable, long lasting and strong; yet light enough to be carried easily by hand.
	A unit that is quiet and doesn't rattle when on the move.
	A unit that has a built-in cooler box capable of holding food and drink for trips away.
	A unit that has pumped water into a 'lift-out' sink for easy cleaning.
	A shower attachment that can also be used to wash off muddy boots and outdoor equipment.
	A good quality stove.
	A unit that is affordable and with a large amount of 'standard' equipment. No long list of additional optional extras. Those extras to be supplied as part of a 'complete' kit.
The 'NEW' STIMSON EXPLORER KIT has the following items, all as standard equipment.
	A durable galvanised steel galley unit topped with robust aluminium chequerplate.
	A hard-wearing manually operated water system with resistant braided water pipe. Water pump capacity: 8 litres per minute.
	A 6.5 litre lift-out sink and draining mat.
	A shower attachment and separate 20 litre solar shower unit.
	A toughened 10 litre polythene water carrier with screw top and additional pouring spout.
	A 9QT built-in cooler box with adjustable horizontal/vertical shelf/divide.
	A quality single burner butane gas stove complete with piezo ignition, built-in pressure safety device and aluminium wind shield.
	Aluminium worktop which fits over the sink unit.
	Chrome mug storage rack and equipment stowage net.
	A lift out galvanised steel utensils tray, complete with non-slip matting and rubber edging.

	A strong 'T' adjustable drop down leg, enabling the unit to fit vehicles – trailers – day boats up to 1 metre from ground level. The unit is also capable of being used at ground level, using the additional adjustable leg for uneven terrain.
