'Stimson Overlander'

based on Toyota Regius and Hi Lux models 

The Stimson Overlander is the latest development from the drawing board of designer Barry Stimson.  She is bursting with new ideas, with particular attention being given to the importance of good anatomic and ergonomic design .  For instance all seats can be spun round – adjusted for rake – laid flat or slid forward or backward, making lounging and dining incredibly comfortable for up to five people. All five travelling seats are production crash tested seats with full seat belts.  A new design innovation is the aerodynamic 'Airflow' top box, moulded to the roof with access being gained through a sliding hatch inside the vehicle to provide storage for bedding – clothes – table etc..  The 'L' shaped moulded galley and chefs seat provide a comfortable 'set up' with plenty of worktop space for preparing and dishing up food.  Primarily she's a spacious two berth.  However additional  sleeping – living area can be created by using a free standing awning.  The awning also works as a site marker when leaving camp for a day out or for an evening meal.
